The LDs eventually increased to 150cc, such as this 1957 model, and paved the way in which for that extremely popular TV, LI and SX types of the1960s. Through individuals years, the engine would grow, the vertical cylinder would turn horizontal, the engine covers would have more rounded, shaft drive could be changed by chain, and scootering would be a full-on youth movement in Europe (as observed in the film “Quadrophenia”).
